Mr. Kwiecien has dedicated his practice to defending healthcare professionals since 2016.
Prior to 2016, Mr. Kwiecien was an attorney with a Midwest-based casino management company, where he managed litigation involving the company and its affiliates. He was responsible for handling commercial and employment-related agreements, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, and investigating complaints. Mr. Kwiecien provides proactive and forward-thinking counsel; he is intensely focused on achieving the best possible outcome in any legal endeavor.
Mr. Kwiecien is licensed to practice law in Michigan and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Litigation, Negligence Law, Business Law, Health Care Law, and Labor & Employment Law sections. In terms of education, Mr. Kwiecien graduated cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (“UDM”) with a focus on civil procedure, evidence, and trial strategy. He was an accomplished member of UDM’s moot court team where he was a semifinalist in the New York City Bar Association’s Moot Court Tournament, which is one of the largest and most prestigious moot court tournaments in the country. In this tournament, Mr. Kwiecien received a runner-up best brief award and earned a top oralist award. In addition to his moot court accolades, he attended law school on an academic scholarship, and received several academic awards including membership in the Dean’s Honor Society and National Order of Barristers. He was also a founding board member of UDM Law’s ACLU Chapter.
Mr. Kwiecien is an eagle scout and in his free time he can be found outdoors enjoying Michigan’s seasons with his wife, Jen. When he is not outdoors, Mr. Kwiecien can be found cheering on his favorite local sports teams.
