Mr. Dwaihy was a member of the Michigan State University College of Law Moot Court & Trial Advocacy Board from 2001 – 2003.
He obtained the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy Certificate in 2006. He is AV or Preeminent Peer Review rated by Martindale-Hubbell and he has been recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star in medical malpractice defense since 2008. Mr. Dwaihy has successfully tried medical malpractice cases to juries throughout Michigan. He has also successfully arbitrated cases and represented physicians in licensing actions, including through trial. He has gained unique experience defending medical malpractice cases in Daubert hearings and he has been a frequent presenter on issues in medical malpractice litigation throughout his career.
Mr. Dwaihy joined Tanoury, Nauts McKinney & Dwaihy, PLLC in 2021; he was previously a shareholder and co-leader of the medical liability practice group in one of Michigan’s oldest and largest law firms.

Mr. Dwaihy concentrates his practice on defending medical malpractice litigation and represents physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care providers throughout Michigan. He also has extensive experience representing health care providers in state licensing actions.
